PDW Appoints Samantha Greenberg and William Welch to Board of Directors

HUNTSVILLE, AL (May 14, 2026) – PDW Holdings, Inc. (“PDW”), the parent company of Performance Drone Works, today announced the appointment of Samantha Greenberg and William Welch to its Board of Directors. These appointments reinforce the company’s leadership as it advances its mission to bring decisive airpower into the hands of every operator and scale the delivery of modern tactical robotics.
Samantha Greenberg will serve as Chair of the PDW Board's Audit Committee. She brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, including overseeing financial operations, investing in public and private companies, scaling high-growth enterprises, and executing complex M&A and capital markets transactions.
Ms. Greenberg currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of AlphaSense, an AI platform focused on market intelligence and workflow automation. She previously served as CFO of ID.me and Mint House. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Citadel, Goldman Sachs, and Paulson & Co., and founded Margate Capital Management LP. She currently serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Nasdaq-listed CSG Systems and on the AI and Analytics Advisory Board of the Wharton School.
William Welch will serve as Chair of the PDW Board's Compensation Committee. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the cybersecurity and enterprise software industries, with a track record of leading both public and private companies through periods of significant growth and innovation. His expertise spans product development, customer experience, talent acquisition, and global strategic partnerships.
Mr. Welch currently serves on the board of directors of ID.me, where he is Chairman of the Compensation Committee. His recent roles include serving as Chief Executive Officer of cloud security software provider Sysdig, President and Chief Operating Officer of Talkdesk, Co-Chief Executive Officer of IronNet Cybersecurity, and Chief Operating Officer of Zscaler. Welch has led AI-driven cybersecurity innovation, scaled global go-to-market and operational strategy, and played a key role in high-value acquisitions, including Duo Security’s $2.35 billion sale to Cisco.
